Why We Built This Site
Public access in Washington does not mean one office has every fact. The jail records booking and present custody. A police agency keeps its incident report. District Court or the Superior Court Clerk maintains filed charges and dispositions. Washington State Patrol runs WATCH, while state custody and registry information use other systems. We organize the verified request steps, fees, contacts, and official search routes so those boundaries are clear.
What You Will Find Here
- Case-record help: ways to locate and read Whitman County criminal court cases
- Official check details: differences between WATCH name searches and WSP fingerprint reviews
- Office contacts: routes to the Sheriff, court clerks, jail, and Washington record systems
- Record remedies: where Washington vacation, sealing, and nonconviction deletion requests begin
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site, with no link to a Washington court, police department, sheriff, or state agency. Those limits matter:
- We do not retrieve official records or conduct official background checks
- We cannot submit a vacation motion, request form, or other filing for a visitor
- Certified court papers and repository records cannot be issued here
- We do not provide legal advice about a charge, warrant, or case
- Agency hours, fees, addresses, and procedures can change without notice
An official copy must come from the Whitman County record holder or Washington State Patrol, not from this private resource.
Search Partners
Independent providers power some search boxes. They control their prices, data, service terms, and results. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee for us, which supports free access to the reference pages. We neither set a partner's charge nor determine what its search returns.
